Numbers Word Search

Numbers Word Search replaces the usual letter grid with a 10×10 grid of digits (0–9). Instead of finding words, you scan for 12 randomly generated four-digit numbers - sequences like 3847, 9021, or 5563 hidden among the surrounding digits. Numbers are placed in 4 directions: left-to-right, right-to-left, top-to-bottom, and bottom-to-top.

The challenge is different from letter-based word search: your brain has to distinguish number sequences rather than recognise words, which exercises a different kind of pattern recognition. It's great for number lovers, students practising digit recognition, or anyone wanting a fresh twist on the classic word search format. Optional 3-minute timer, or hide it for untimed play.

1. Read the number list. The panel beside the grid lists the 12 four-digit numbers you need to find. Each is a unique random number between 1000 and 9999.
2. Scan the digit grid. Numbers run in 4 directions. Pick a number from the list and look for its first digit in the grid, then check in each direction for the rest of the sequence.
3. Click and drag to select. On desktop click the first digit, drag to the last, and release. On mobile swipe across the digits. The selection snaps to horizontal or vertical lines.
4. Track your progress. Found numbers are crossed off the list and the progress bar advances. Find all 12 to win.

Tip: Scan row by row rather than hunting for a specific number. When you spot any sequence of 4 digits that looks familiar, check your list.
